Travelto/from and in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is about 20km from Schiphol Airport. About 90 airlines fly to Amsterdam. From the airport, you can easily get to Amsterdam by taxi, train or (shuttle)bus. It takes you about 20 minutes (unless you travel during rush hours-then it may take up to 40 minutes by taxi). The train departs from Schiphol airport and brings you to the city centre of Amsterdam. It is then 1 tram stop to the Krasnaposky hotel where the conference will take place. If you wish to walk, it will take you 5 to 10 minutes (straight from the station to Dam Square).
