1. Conference venue and hotel rooms
ECToH 2011 will be organized in the 5star rated famous hotel Kransnapolsky in the city centre of Amsterdam. The Krasnapolsky is a supporter of the conference. Special room rates are made for ECToH participants. We strongly advise you to use this offer especially as we are able to use the entire hotel when enough hotel rooms are booked by ECToH participants. Please book your hotel therefore here (link).
2. Registration and payment policy
a) Registration fee

All amounts indicated are in €uros and include 3,5% administration costs.
The registration fee includes entrance to the opening reception Sunday March 27th2011 at the conference venue. The conference fees covers entrance into all the sessions, conference documentation and available papers, coffee/refreshments breaks and lunch.
Conference language is in English.
b) Registration and payment
Registration will only be accepted online accompanied by payment using I-Deal (Dutch national bank transfer) or Pay Square (credit card transfer). You will be transfered to a secure payment site. Registration fee include 3,5% administration and transaction costs. If you also register for the dinner buffet evening Tuesday March 29th, the €60 additional costs will be automatically added to the total amount.
3. Conflict of interest
According to the Basel ECToH2007 resolution, ‘Representatives of the Tobacco Industry and its front bodies or anyone acting on their behalf should not be permitted to participate in conferences whose primary focus is Tobacco Control.´ Participants should therefore declare in the registration form not to be representing the tobacco industry or its front bodies.
4. Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be notified by email to the conference organizers.
- Cancellations before January 28th 2011 will be 50% refunded
- Cancellations after January 28th 2011 will not be refunded
- Substitution of a participant is possible at extra costs of €50 per substitute per day. Substitutions must be made by email
All refunds will be made after the end of the Conference.
5. Data Protection
Data entered in the registration form, may be used by parties directly related to the event such as the organisers and approved stakeholders, for relevant purposes such as promotion, networking and administration of this, and future ECToH conferences.
In addition, your name, organisation and country/state of origin may be published on the delegate list which is provided to delegates, exhibitors and sponsors at the event.
6. Booking Conditions
A confirmation email will be sent automatically by DeCongresbalie within 48 hours of your booking. You are able to download your credit card receipt when you register on line. For an additional copy or invoice of you registration and payment, please contact us.
7. Conference dinner buffet
A dinner buffet and entertainment is organized Tuesday 29th March in the evening at the conference venue. Participants need to sign up for the dinner buffet in the registration form. Additional costs are €60. This includes a dinner buffet and 3 consumptions (two drinks and one coffee/tea) . Extra drinks (after 21h) at participants own costs (added to room bill or paid in cash on the spot). You will receive a dinner buffet voucher.
