Guendalina Graffigna is a Full Professor of Consumer and Health Psychology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Cremona and Director of the EngageMinds HUB – Consumer, Food & Health Engagement Research Center and of the Master’s Degree in International Patient Advocacy Management. Guendalina is also coordinator of the International Master’s Degree in Consumer Behaviors: Psychology Applied to Food, Health and Environment. From November 2019 to 2025, she was a member of the Executive Committee of the Organizations Section of the Italian Psychological Association (AIP). From 2022 to 2025, she was a member of the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) established by the Ministry of Health. From 2025 she is part of the scientific board of LILT Milano.
Guendalina’s scientific research draws on the perspective of health psychology applied to the study of unhealthy behaviors, patient engagement in prevention and chronic care, eating habits, longevity, and the impact of new technologies on the healthcare system. According to the Scopus Scientific Database, she is the world’s most widely published author on the topic of Patient Engagement.
