Dr Britta K. Matthes is a Research Fellow in the Tobacco Control Research Group (TCRG) at the University of Bath, UK. Her research examines how commercial actors, including the tobacco industry, influence public policy, and explores what can, is, and should be done to prevent and counter these influences. Recent projects include work on industry opposition to tobacco-free generation policies and the regulation of single-use e-cigarettes. She holds a PhD in Social and Policy Sciences from the University of Bath and is an alumna of the Erasmus Mundus Masters in Public Policy programme.
